Weird, so this is a thing? For the record, I don't look like Halle Berry and am pretty reserved so not a prime target for younger guy confidences.

They also had a link to another thread that was similar. I don't think it is about your looks, I think it is about them needing someone to talk to and then see it as more than it is and then things advancing from there. I think as the older person you should be the one running the ball on this one. You control how far it is going to go and if you don't want it at all then simply cut off his access to you. But whatever you do, don't think of this as flattering. It isn't, it is just trouble. Also, save yourself the grief and tell your husband about it now.

Does anyone else have trouble with this line anymore? At work i have a slightly younger male friendly acquaintance (he is 34, I am 39) who talks about his relationship problems (long term girlfriend) and insecurities. I'm astounded that anyone would be this open to someone he doesn't know that well. I am married but have gotten a faint flirtatious vibe before from him, based on complimenting my appearance and doing me to lunch (I was otherwise engaged. Maybe men don't have a lot of people to talk to about this sort of thing?
