no. not tested. All I know they are of good quality.

Thank you ladies for sharing your thoughts.

w/o PGS no statements can be made of quality. They are of good visual appearance.

I would transfer 1 at a time. Recently did two failed FETs and have two frozen embryos left, but will continue with one at a time since I don't want twins. I already have a DD though (from IVF, the frozen embryos are from the same cycle).

You don't know this unless they've been tested.

Something to consider. I had 5 perfect and beautiful blasts according to my RE PGS testing showed only 1 was normal

Twin mom here - who commented also in the thread that's linked.

My strong advice is to transfer one at a time OP. See the thread...

Do one- I had 2 pgs normal and transferred one and it failed. modified the protocol and transferred the second- and im currently 24 weeks. if I would have transferred both the first time I would have ended up with nothing, most likely.

New poster: I had two failed fresh IVF - both single transfers- at age 31- and got pregnant on my first FET. Then I tried FET again for my next child and had a chemical pregnancy followed by a BFP. So first time it was my third single transfer and second child it was my second. I'm so damn glad I have singletons and was patient to do single transfers. Don't let short sighted impatience win out over reason and odds.

Twin mom - ONE! Don't get me wrong....I feel so freaking lucky after our years of infertility but the pregnancy was exactly the opposite of what I had dreamed about (soooo sick, months of bedrest, and nearly loosing them over and over, NICU, etc). Two newborns is not for the faint of heart. Your marriage better be super strong. I could go on. Please transfer one.

Op - this thread addresses what I think you're asking:

at my age they recommend 1, but if it's up to me 1 or 2. I don't want twins, but at the same time I want to increase my chances.

Based on what I've heard from twin moms... 1. A twin pregnancy is really hard and so is parenting twins.

Hello ladies,

My first IVF failed, and I am going for FET. I have 5- day5 blastocysts.

Should I go for 1 or 2 transfers? I'm 31, and I have PCOS.
