Yeah, this was priceless. DD, obviously non-circumcised (here in the U.S.), is on the spectrum. DS, who was circumcized, is. Go figure. Sorry folks, no exciting medical study here. Clearly genetic in my family.

Me too.

Next, please.

Count me as a lover!

Me too....and great post after that autism causes circumcision

No worries. The researchers will soon return to finding every which way to blame mom. I predict the following will be correlated with autism

# sexual partners mom had as a single lady

# beers mom drank in college long before getting pregnant

How much MIL likes mom is inversely related

# times mom ate chocolate

also, mom didn't masturbate enough while pregnant

LMAO!

Say it with me - correlation is not causation. Repeat as many times as necesary until your tiny pea brain grasps the concept.

This article discusses a study out of Denmark that shows that the risk of autism doubles for boys who were circumcized before the age of 5. The study was conducted because of the combination of recent findings in animals that showed that a single injury could result in lifelong deficits in response to stress and a study that involved a correlation between circumcision and prevalence of autism spectrum disorder. It was found that long-term alterations in the perception of pain which is a characteristic noticed in children who are autistic, was associated with painful experiences in newborn babies and animals.

Interesting read.
