Circumcision increases chance for autism

Anonymous
Newly published study this week followed 342,877 boys born between 1994 and 2003.

With a total of 4986 ASD cases, our study showed that regardless of cultural background circumcised boys were more likely than intact boys to develop ASD (autism spectrum disorder) before age 10 years.

No. There is no causation here.

And explain how circ rates are falling here in US but autism rates are increasing?

Correlation =/= causation

Bwahahahaha.

That was one of the most poor studies ever done. Did you take note of how little they controlled for? Did you note how they did NOT show a difference in Muslim boys? hello? Are they FORCING a connection? Hmm...

Oh, so that explains it all. Not genetics, not a birth injury, not a medical incident, just circumcision. So, how do you explain girls with autism or boys who did not have one.

Wow, I only had to read the introduction to see how blindingly biased they were going into this project.

Wow this really doesn't help advance your cause. It just shows you're an idiot.

Increase in autism is linked to pesticides and ame retardants in breast milk. Last 20'years of pushing EBF and higher rates of autism. round up pesticide is going at rates 1600 times higher than acceptable in women's breats milk.

I've heard EBF is what leads to autism.

So, how do you explain ff kids?

Or, could we have higher rates due to a change in the diagnosic criteria, misdiagnosis, etc.

Go away.

57 ASD cases in "ritually circumcised" boys aged 0-9 (of which 7 were aged 2-9). And then they further divide that very small number of cases into Muslim and non-Muslim (i.e., Jewish), and different types of autism? That's some fancy math work there.

Here is reference to a longitudinal study published in a reputable peer-reviewed journal

I always knew guys think with their smaller head, so I guess if you harm it in some way it affects the one on their shoulders.
