Some forms can be transmitted by droplet. But those are not common. A family member of mine had meningitis this Spring, and no one in his family became infected, although we touched him often. A good argument to make sure your child is vaccinated on time, though.

Definitely not fake. I was told personally today that a second case of viral meningitis has been detected in the K grade a Peabody by a Peabody teacher. Will post info on viral meningitis in a moment.

Is your kid able to move his/her head up and down freely? Or if they try to touch their chin to their chest do they say it hurts or seem stiff? You should probably take your kid to the doc either way, but absolutely take them if the above is hard/painful for them.
