| Today's Washington Post describes the precautions that local school systems in Maryland and Virginia are taking in response to a possible Ebola threat. Any word on DC's plans? |

I'm more worried about enterovirus, measles, whooping cough, ecoli, my own distracted driving, and un-secured guns in someone's home on a play date.
|
I am currently in Tenleytown laughing my a$$ off |
I am also more concerned about enterovirus and guns. I always ask if they have guns at home, and invite the kids at my home instead if they say yes. News are full of gun "accidents" involving kids with guns parents thought were "secured". |

Hmmmmmm. Really? You find that impressive? |
| On a related note, I took my child to the er last night because of a playground fall. They asked about foreign travel in our household, even though dc was not at all ill. They are stepping up information gathering. |
Large base of Republican voters freaking out after reading Breitbart. |
I find it sad, parents freaking out 12 year old kids. |
| It's not "freaking out." It's called taking precautions. Twelve-year-old kids usually aren't mature enough to take adequate precautions. That's why they have parents. |
