Can't you just wear the sari to the wedding? Any tailor that an Indian grocery recommends can make you a blouse. Hell my MIL in the middle of nowhere took one of my blouses and a yard of fabric to her dry cleaner and they copied it in her size.

can't drive to NJ and not planning on visiting my in laws in bangladeshi anytime soon... hmm wanted to get this done so that i can wear it to a wedding
If your in Va, try Bombay Foods in Fairfax. It's a grocery store, but the lady there told me she makes cholis. They had a few there for sale so you can pick a design from them. They were pretty fancy so a bit expensive.
I've not had any made there though so I can't give you first hand experience.

call india sari palace or priya's in MD for recs. or was that priti's? i cant remember. they are on university blvd in langley park. sonia's sarees (multiple locations) may know of seamstresses too.
