I agree for pizza in a box, but when I order a bunch of things that have to be put in containers, wrapped up in foil, bags or whatever then put in a larger bag that you can carry out, I feel they need the buck or two more than I do.

When you carry out yourself? Or do you mean when you order carry out and they deliver ?
when you take out yourself, you don't need to tip. When they deliver, it's polite to give tips.

No. We only tip for pizza delivery.

Yes, someone has to get it together, bring it to the front and ring it up. I usually give 10-15%. I never tip for carry out at the Cheesecake Factory though since they always mess up my order.
