Because can just add IA to classroom, most relevant is how your school staffs a classroom. Last year averages in below link, but most helpful for you would be to just talk to your school for whatever question or concern you have. New parent to school calls are common.

The state of Virginia's maximum is 29 in kindergarten. I believe Fairfax County's guideline is 28. Kindergarten has a full time teacher plus a full time assistant.
