She will test prep in the summer.
I think she made excellent use of her time.
For those who are taking the March SAT or the June one. Not talking about summer!![]()
Why are you rolling your eyes? You're rude. Not everyone has your priorities.

Yes we don’t have the priorities of OP’s slacker kid who she feels like crowing about as if they’ve done something good.

Some school districts open in end July or early August and will have 5-6 weeks more instructional time than MCPS gives yet every kid will take the same national exam in May.
I understand that class time is ideal for AP instruction. But, it is not the only way to study for AP exams. There are a ton of online resources, including your student's AP Classroom on the College Board website. If AP classes are intended to be college equivalent classes, students need to understand that not every single piece of information will be taught to them. They must also study independently.
I would much rather my kid get 5 days of instruction for AP Physics and AP calculus. My kid is not self-teaching those subjects.
My kid studied for the SAT over the summer so they wouldn’t have to scramble during the school year.
Okay, have them study previous material. Review what they have already covered. It is possible to study what has been taught already.
