Just meaning that I value actionable change through a committed lifestyle choice to be active and exercise to be healthy. I couldn’t care less about losing weight. I am 52, and choose lifestyle choices to make sure I am active, and can be able to be physically functional at 80.
The drugs stuff is an easy fix. That is what depresses me in terms of those threads having no motivation for me on to achieve my overall goals.
For the record OP, I am on an injectable but have been following a nutrition plan and fitness plan under the direction of a weight loss clinic all along. I too am motivated by being "physically functional at 80" so I prioritize strength training with weights and eating more protein. At 64, I have more muscle than I'eve ever had, am no longer on medication for hypertension, and am conducting "actionable change through a committed lifestyle choice to be active and exercise to be healthy" every day. Being on an injectable and committing to healthy eating and regular exercise are not incompatible, although I realize some people are using injectables without making any lifestyle changes.
