Jeff, you would not actually need to move posts anywhere. Rename that forum “Diet and GLP1s” and create a new “Exercise” forum. Just a thought.

OP there just won't be enough traffic. He also started a forum just for perimenopause and it was a bust - gets about 20 posts a week.

Jeff thinks that Diet/exercise means that someone is trying to lose weight because he refuses to change the description from "Discussion of topics related to weight loss."

OP again. You are already doing so much for the site, so no worries on creating a separate forum! In the grande scheme of things, and what is going on in the world, this stuff is peanuts. 🥜

Just meaning that I value actionable change through a committed lifestyle choice to be active and exercise to be healthy. I couldn’t care less about losing weight. I am 52, and choose lifestyle choices to make sure I am active, and can be able to be physically functional at 80.

The drugs stuff is an easy fix. That is what depresses me in terms of those threads having no motivation for me on to achieve my overall goals.

For the record OP, I am on an injectable but have been following a nutrition plan and fitness plan under the direction of a weight loss clinic all along. I too am motivated by being "physically functional at 80" so I prioritize strength training with weights and eating more protein. At 64, I have more muscle than I'eve ever had, am no longer on medication for hypertension, and am conducting "actionable change through a committed lifestyle choice to be active and exercise to be healthy" every day. Being on an injectable and committing to healthy eating and regular exercise are not incompatible, although I realize some people are using injectables without making any lifestyle changes.

Nope. They are not "an easy fix." Not even close. So ... given that you are posting this, even here on this website feedback thread, I would not be surprised if you are one of the people derailing the GLP1 threads with this nasty fat phobic attitude. At any rate, simply stop opening those threads if they "have no motivation" for you.

+1

I just report really nasty fat-phobic comments. That is the real problem with the GLP1 threads, they get derailed by unhinged cruelty.

Why is it depressing to you? Perhaps you should explore that before asking for a change that Jeff has explained many times that he is not planning to make.

That's a great idea. It's not necessarily depressing for me, disheartening maybe? But I'm certainly tired of seeing it.
