If you rotate, why not continue and rotate the offender out? I'm thankful my dog doesn't have digestive issues and we are not beholden to one company. I think people who feed one kibble notice their dog's digestive reactions to new batches immediately, so I would trust them but it's possible the company fixed the issue. If you want to try it, get the smaller bag.

Raw food is a health hazard....E.coli and Salmonella are frequent contaminants. While your pets GI system may be able to handle them at times, yours cannot. And guess who gets contaminated when they lick your face and hands?? Yep! YOU!! There oral cavity serves as a breeding ground for these bacteria, not to mention the food dishes.

DO NOT FEED YOUR PET RAW FOOD.

Don’t feed them that crap. Get high quality food for your dog. My dog had never eaten kibble in his entire life. He is a large breed, age 16! He eats Farmer’s Dog and Stella & Chewy’s raw frozen. It’s not cheap with a big dog, but to me his health and longevity are worth it.

Asked and answered. There's no problem with Purina. I don't know why people feel the need to fear monger about a safe food or to tout others that aren't.

Same here. My dog eats it because she has a sensitive stomach, so we'd know pretty quickly if there was a problem with the food.

A few years ago there was a problem with some brands of premium dog foods. People were reporting serious issues. I can't remember the brands. I fed my dog Taste of the Wild dog food at that time, so I wondered if my dog's illness was related to that food. Never pursued anything.

I do remember hearing that Purina gets all its pet food ingredients here in the US, so it's not toxic Chinese ingredients.

I have never had an issue but did switch to Royal Canin out of caution, the small breed one. My dog seems to prefer it so will stick with it.

Purina has multiple formulations with different proteins, for different age categories and sizes, under the “Sensitive Skin and Stomach” category. Numerous people from our rescue reported problems with the Salmon and Rice one for adult large breed dogs over the past year. I feed my dog the Salmon one that doesn’t have “Rice” in the name (although it is an ingredient) for large breed adult dogs. I have had zero issues. This is the one I feed my dog:

A while back I went to purchase some more Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach on Chewy and noticed a bunch of recent reviews from owners saying their dogs recently became really sick from the food. I've since switched to another brand. I do a rotation diet anyway, so it wasn't a big deal but would like to rotate back. Has anyone here experienced any issues with Pro plan?
