Subject: Are Rothys fashionable?
For a decent alternative, look at the Hush Puppies loafers. I wear them all the time and they look nice, come in pretty colors and don't hurt my feet or smell.

It's a common issue for a lot of Rothy wearers. You are lucky. I wear flats all the time with no socks (mostly leather) and have no issues with any of them, except for the pair of Rothys I had. The material that Rothys are made out of made my feet sweat and the shoes smelled really bad. Even after I washed them consistently.

i wear the ballet flats because I have feet issues and they are comfortable. Plus easily washable.
