J Lo was a hard worker as a kid. She certainly wasn’t getting paid big bucks to run track all day and take dance lessons . Her mother would even get annoyed at her hyper focus and tell her to lighten up on the extracurriculars and focus on college .

J Lo had a very high chance of failure if you think about it. An 18 year old girl from the Bronx and who certainly wasn’t a size 2 or a vocal prowess with a powerful husband or prominent family like Mariah Carey , Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, or  stage parents like Britney Spears  or Christina Aguilera. She started her journey alone and usually those types end it alone because they’re too self driven and self focused to make compromise or other people’s wishes take priority over their own. In short, Jennifer does the opposite of what we all are told to do as women : put ourselves last [/quote]
