Those types survive Anything . It’s a rare personality type. It’s interesting they’re both Leos. Maybe blind ambition, love of admiration/ attention and beating the odds are Leo traits. Meghan Markle is another Leo who certainly climbed the ranks.


All three are very motivated, scrappy fighters and laser focused on what they want. "Don't get in my way.".

Yes, there is and if you think otherwise you're an empty person. I think J. Lo is similarly empty and perpetually unfulfilled. She can control everything with work but is otherwise a hot mess.

J Lo was a hard worker as a kid. She certainly wasn’t getting paid big bucks to run track all day and take dance lessons . Her mother would even get annoyed at her hyper focus and tell her to lighten up on the extracurriculars and focus on college .

J Lo had a very high chance of failure if you think about it. An 18 year old girl from the Bronx and who certainly wasn’t a size 2 or a vocal prowess with a powerful husband or prominent family like Mariah Carey , Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, or stage parents like Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera. She started her journey alone and usually those types end it alone because they’re too self driven and self focused to make compromise or other people’s wishes take priority over their own. In short, Jennifer does the opposite of what we all are told to do as women : put ourselves last

I find JLo interesting, works steadily and fabulously rich but little lauded. Ben has two Oscars, Jen G has a SAG and a Golden Globe. JLo has nada, not even a Grammy despite having sold plenty of albums. I think she has it in her but needs to be more selective and less vain in her acting roles. The hair and makeup alone in the Atlas promos were off putting and absurd. I could see her doing well as an older actress if she can just let going of needing to be “hot” at all times.

She just lets those headlines or running gags (that haven’t aged well) talk for themselves and then discusses how Trumps border cages and such inspired her to put cages with kids on stage at the Super Bowl while singing Born in the USA .

It was a joke because she famously played a maid. It was a call back to the film that made her famous.

It wasn’t a joke about her ethnicity.

Rom coms aren’t her best work. Crime dramas are. Hustlers has that element . She makes for a great cop or robber and her fight scenes are believable because she’s fit


I’m watching it now. I do like her but the script and graphics are awful.

She was good in Enough, The Cell, and even The Mother which are all action roles.

This was just a poor quality project

I disagree that Jennifer Lopez should take time off to be single.

Maybe if she were 25, even 30.
But at her age (55?) she no longer has time on her side.

And she will be in her sixties which is not a decade where she will ever be viewed in the prime of her life.


DP. If a man is going to write her off because she's 57 and looking rather than 53 and looking, he's a shallow person. Yes, she can afford to take some time to herself to get her priorities and mind straight before possibly entering anoyher serious relationship.


Right? Plenty of older women that don't look anywhere as good as jlo have found love. Unlike the average woman her age she also has more opportunities to meet someone as well. Will they be men of substance? Probably not but that's never stopped her before.
