Not to worry, rumor has it that APS will be providing private shuttles to parents who need to get to the school for back-to-school night, conferences, etc. That won’t help those who need to pick up from extended day but at least it’s something. But I’m not sure how that helps reduce transportation costs (or is equitable if you would like to go to an option school but don’t because you don’t have APS providing a private shuttle).[/quote]

This is the first I’ve heard about private shuttles.  Sounds weird, but if this is true, ok.  The field at ASFS looks like a disaster zone.[/quote]

I wouldn't believe the rumors. ASFS' current population has a significant number of apartment dwellers not in walking distance and they don't do diddly-squat for back to school night and conferences.  People get dropped in cabs and ubers. [/quote]
