You wouldn't choose to make a brutal weapon like a garrote from your own paint set if you accidentally killed your child. Garrote's used to be used to execute people in foreign countries. This is really beyond any rational thought.[/quote]

It's horrific to think that a parent would do this to their own child.  But it is horrific to think that anyone would do this to a child.  The thought processes involved in doing this are outside of the norm. No matter what scenario you come up with for this murder it makes no sense.  Whoever did this was not thinking in a way that most of us could ever relate to.  We keep trying to make sense of something that simply does not, and never will,  make any sense.[/quote]
