I think it's a stupid term, and the sneering, condescending tone that people use along with it, makes me hate the phrase "special snowflake" with a passion. I wish people would stop using it. But racist? No. Just because snowflakes are white, it has nothing to do with race. A "snowflake" just means that the parents are helicopters and think their child is special, unique, and fragile. A "special snowflake" child can be black, white, red, or yellow. Arguing that "snowflake" is a racist term is also like saying "the pot calling the kettle black" is racist. [/quote]
