Watch for him to weaponize the affair and his "weakness" to explain it all away. AP orchestrated it all out of "love" and he thought it was just S... didn't think she would go so far as to attack his wife. That's why he let her have access to his gun, he was trying to show off. That's why he took the blame for her, she was young, scared, and from another country. He didn't think there would be an issue since it was a "home invasion..." Blah, blah blah. Hopefully there is forensic or digital evidence that would completely foreclose a version of events like this. Would be interesting if some sort of GPS tracking on his phone for his car to see what route it took that morning. And if CB was drugged that would presumably show up on an autopsy and totally contradict the home invasion story line?
LE debunked the home invasion story line the day of the murders. Said no sign of forced entry. LE calls both CB and JR victims. They have JR's electronics proving he was invited. No home invasion. It's now the AP's mother in Brazil trying to sell that discredited idea. And that her social climbing DD, charged with second degree MURDER, "wouldn't hurt a fly." Uh huh. JR would beg to differ, if, you know, he was alive.
Right, understood it's not home invasion as a matter of fact, but just wildly theorizing that BB could try to explain his state of mind (his taking credit for the shooting) by claiming HE thought it was a home invasion. (Was in car, got a call from AP, rushed home, she was "scared" she shot someone, he figured it's self defense and will cover for her, all of his actions were blinded by the affair)
Gotcha. It defo is an approach he may take. Esp as he may think it frames him as a hero. I wonder if they were on drugs, seriously. How would you think this would be believed? I mean it's one thing to do the au pair or to cheat and emotionally abuse your wife. Men in midlife do some crazy stuff sometimes. But to think you could KILL 2 people and then just move on? They did not even try to fake up forced entry. Would someone in his job be drug tested regularly or just at start? The delusions of superiority and weight loss could have had a chemical boost? He had to be taking her to a range, not plausible that was her first time firing a gun. She is cold blooded. They were just impediments to the life she could almost touch and that in her mind, she deserved.
