Re: the converting the J-1 visa issue - so what I understand is that it is hard to convert to a student visa and she would need a financial sponsor, presumably BB?

If he is jailed and thus unemployed she will be deported once released, whenever that may be? Or does the sponsor put up the money all at the beginning? Is there any kind of morals clause?

I really think she thought he's marry her and she'd get a green card. She may have been able to land a guy closer to her age who was not married, quite the missed chance.

I suspect that is quite likely to happen. Her mother does not seem to be a source of wise counsel, maybe the other inmates can clue her in about men.

She saw him as some great provider but that life is over and not coming back. Plus, you'd have to sleep with one eye open yourself!

Surely the detectives are painting a vivid picture for her of how he'll turn on her and lay all the blame at her feet.

I don’t think any jury is going to buy the idea that this guy came home and found his wife dying and his au pair was freaking out that she shot someone and immediately he decided to lie and say he shot the guy. I don’t see that going over.

His mom lives with her partner and supports BB no matter what he does. Totally blindly loyal to her son.

Yes, LE confirmed both calls from au pair's cell phone to 911.

We'll find out, either it has important location evidence, or it being left, with his gun, could be evidence of a change in pattern.

Since the story was that they were "out" when JR arrived, they likely planned to document that with phones, a Starbucks receipt, something?

Since LE seems 100% that he was not there when the shots were fired, he was geo located by his phone or car at that time. Shots timing was documented by a Ring or something. That was key in charging au pair. And knowing he was lying.

To confirm, both calls were from au pair to 911? No calls from husband even though he spoke to first responders over the phone? I wonder if he purposefully left his phone elsewhere so his morning couldn’t be traced.

It's now the AP's mother in Brazil trying to sell that discredited idea. And that her social climbing DD, charged with second degree MURDER, "wouldn't hurt a fly." Uh huh. JR would beg to differ, if, you know, he was alive.

It defo is an approach he may take. Esp as he may think it frames him as a hero.

I wonder if they were on drugs, seriously. How would you think this would be believed? I mean it's one thing to do the au pair or to cheat and emotionally abuse your wife. Men in midlife do some crazy stuff sometimes. But to think you could KILL 2 people and then just move on? They did not even try to fake up forced entry.

Would someone in his job be drug tested regularly or just at start? The delusions of superiority and weight loss could have had a chemical boost?

He had to be taking her to a range, not plausible that was her first time firing a gun. She is cold blooded. They were just impediments to the life she could almost touch and that in her mind, she deserved.
