I'm not an abortion or political scholar, but don't pro-choice argue banning abortion has a much broader impact than just forcing more [poor/unwanted] babies into the world? I believe they argue abortion is a negative sin that casts a dark cloud of society and brings down society overall. It's much broader than your theoretical [more] welfare babies with drug addict parents. They also argue it makes people more responsible for their actions? More selective about sexual partners; less promiscuity? Things like that.[/quote]

I’m arguing it because people who are pro life don’t see beyond the fetus.
I’m arguing because crap can happen to anyone.
I’m arguing because I was molested by my father. If I’d gotten pregnant and he’d had to sign off it would t have happened.
I’m arguing it because less promiscuity means nothing to me.

Where is the social safety net for these fetuses once they become an actual baby?
