Government freezes assets of donors. How does any of this fly in a free and Democratic country? Sorry, but terrorism and the monetary support of it is illegal. Terrorism? How about ratcheting down your hysterical hyperbole. Those people were conscientious objectors exorcising their right to peacefully protest.
Both of these descriptions are on the extreme edges. Protest in itself is not illegal or necessarily "terrorism". However, most peaceful protests, at least here in DC, require a permit and a plan so that there are enough portable toilets, etc. and so that the crowd does not block streets. That makes sense. This "convoy" type of protest was not "peaceful". By all accounts the truckers in Ottawa were blasting their horns and blasting music and blocking streets. Not "peaceful". Blocking an important transportation link is not "peaceful". Those are considered acts of war between countries for many people and a judge was right to ask police to remove the truckers. They have a right to protest, but not to block others from going about their business.
