[/quote] Haven't read the book but the NYT reviewer (to be fair, NYT skews left so I'm not sure they were the target audience for a JD Vance book about becoming a tradcath) said it paints a picture of a deeply insecure man who has no idea who he is. I actually saw a right winger on twitter say the bit between them on her podcast was awkward because you know damn well if he could do it over again he wouldn't marry Usha.
