No idea if this will turn out to be a good hire, but you can’t put the recent results of TSJ directly on her shoulders alone. I don’t know when she got there, but all of the talent left two years ago. The players there now are mostly made up of 2nd team players from other clubs who wanted the opportunity to play at the GA level and going to a club under-going a massive talent departure was the fastest way to do it. Her position at TSJ was posted in the United Soccer Coaches job listing forum back in November advertised at $100,000 salary/year. Got nothing to do with Aspire rumors (false by the way as TSJ will be in MLS1 next year). She’s simply riding that American youth soccer cash cow. Some call it a sellout. Euphemistic lingo will dub it corporate America.
