Biden did well until his party showed weakness and took issue with his use of words. Making him apologize for mundane words isn't going to go well against Trump. Do progressive really need to make every little thing an issue?
I actually don't think the party showed weakness But yes, progressives live to kneecap Dems while ignoring Rs ushering a clownish totalitarian state
Biden showed weakness. Because he is weak. If your daughter was murdered by an illegal alien, and the president of the United States got her name wrong and then apologized to her murderer, I'm sure you wouldn't have any problem with it.
I guess Rs feel like they finally found their in for criticizing the speech, eh? Biden wasn't doddering so you tried too energetic and angry - but when that didn't really stick, you're trying this. Well, maybe try running a candidate who isn't a rapist taking away all our rights and see if that makes for a stickier campaign.
"Trying this." LOL. No, we are criticizing him for apologizing to a murderer instead of apologizing to Laken Riley's family.
Yes, I hear you. It's a terrible story. There's no other way to see it. Terrible. I see the play, too - appeal to suburban moms by showing that Dems allow an environment where your daughter can be murdered by a man who shouldn't have even been here. I could be wrong - I often am - but I feel like you lose some of the power of this, when you've also taken away reproductive rights. I feel like you're better off with a different tack. If I were you, I think I'd go for "why are billions going overseas to conflicts that don't even involve us when here at home we aren't even getting as many Doritos in a bag as we used to," but the last thing I'm gonna do is advise Republicans. My real advice would be to ditch Trump for literally ANYONE else. But, again, you've made your bed. Maybe he won't even sh** it this time.
