I had an issue with that. just because Carole's current career isn't as high profile as it used to be doesn't discredit it. Love her or love to hate her she is an Emmy winning journalist and nothing will ever change that. It's like all your children are grown yet someone discredits your parenting. Just because you haven't changed a diaper in 20 years doesn't mean you weren't a good parent and have no purpose. It just means that is no longer your life. Bethenny also conveniently hardly mentions her businessene partners and investors who made the skinny girl brand. She wasn't a one woman show.[/quote]

I personally switched careers about 10 years ago from something kind of prominent in my field to something more low key for a host of reasons with no regrets. No longer publishing or speaking or collecting awards for my work does not make my previous work obsolete. I wish someone who more recently struck gold in their career would try to diminish my earlier accomplishments! They would have to cut to commercial!
Many of the exchanges were difficult because Bethenny just would not shut up. She was determined to get in the first, middle and last word! Whomever said she was Zarin I see it. I don't doubt she is more like her mother![/quote]
