Seems to me that most of the people holding these views self-identify as christian. I've stopped trying to change people's minds, especially the christian. In each and every case I think about the verse in 1 Samual where it says "Let the LORD be the judge between you and me." I guess we'll just see what God thinks when we're both standing before him. See, if he were walking around earth today, I think Jesus would be a rainbow flag waving, pronoun-using, immigrant champion. I think God is always going to side with inclusivity, empathy, respect, kindness, and love. Even if it doesn't fit with how you think the world should be. But like I said, we'll just see won't we.
