I think it is more likely event that schools basically eliminate men's sports except for football and basketball and maybe one or two niche sport a school does well (so lax for Cuse and MD) and balance that out on the women's side based on whatever the Title IX requirements say.

Of course, I think the current set up of having a cap on scholarships is an antitrust violation but what do I know.

This completely ignores D3 where mens lax is basically a recruiting tool to bring in paying customers.[/quote]
