He says any move is going to be the worst idea since he loves and is happy in his current location.

We got into a majot fight about it this morning and now I don't even want to speak with him because what person in their right mind would willingly live SO FAR AWAY from work and spend 2+ hours of their life each day stuck in traffic???

Okay, if you are leaving work at 8pm and getting home at 9pm are you stopping for groceries. I'm sorry. I live in Fairfax and if I leave at 8pm I am home by 8:30pm tops. Now you just sound like you are complaining. That being said, 7pm is a little trickier, but you guys should be using HOV so you STILL shouldn't encounter traffic most of the ride.

An hour really isn't a soul sucking commute, there are people who commute much longer and who basically just sit in traffic. If you think an hour is a long ride I think you should count your blessings or rethink your job. You may also want to leave work earlier or telework.[/quote]
