I was much younger than 20 and I had a sense of loyalty to both parents since we are a family.  When one parent broke that loyalty to to the other parent, it felt like they broke it with me as well.  On top of that the disloyalty disrupted the seemingly happy home I was growing up in.  I can't imagine any minor saying "oh well thats not my business".[/quote]

She lives in lala land. Your reaction is totally normal. The cheating spouse did betray you, they did lie to you. Though through therapy you can learn that people are broken and find a way to love them anyway, unless they are toxic and then you need to stay far away.

The woman who is purposely bringing men to her marital bed is toxic and a bit crazy. Other people are just plain selfish and lacking when it come to their moral and spiritual world.

It is best to look at people with compassion than contempt. But, that does not mean they have to be in your world, you just don't waste you time on them. Fill you life with less self absorbed, selfish and toxic people.  [/quote]
