She lives in lala land. Your reaction is totally normal. The cheating spouse did betray you, they did lie to you. Though through therapy you can learn that people are broken and find a way to love them anyway, unless they are toxic and then you need to stay far away.

The woman who is purposely bringing men to her marital bed is toxic and a bit crazy. Other people are just plain selfish and lacking when it come to their moral and spiritual world.

It is best to look at people with compassion than contempt. But, that does not mean they have to be in your world, you just don't waste you time on them. Fill you life with less self absorbed, selfish and toxic people.

I did my mother told me to stay in a child's place. When I was a child certain things weren't our business

When I was a teen my parents hit a bad patch in their marriage. Rumors circulated that my mother had cheated but it was never confirmed to us kids or the kids of the supposed other man. It still bothers me 25 years latter.

My Uncle cheated many years ago and now only one of his five adult kids acknowledges he is their father.

I listened to a VM from the OW, and then searched emails.
