You should read The Wonderful O by James Thurber..Its very short. You could tackle it in an afternoon. Its  about what happens when we start eliminating expression arbitrarily . In the case of Wonderful.O, all Os are removed because the pirate captain's mom fell through a porthole that reminds him of 'Os'. So you would be happy: "Anchor baby" would be out. It's an amazing book. My mom read it to me when I was young. She experienced Soviet  turmoil and repression and she passed along vigilance and an appreciation for freedom to her children.  It's up there with Animal Farm and 1984.  It makes you think. I hope you will read it if you haven't--Thurber is a gentle author, but speaks powerfully and presciently.[/quote]
