OMG. I'm the PP, and my comment wasn't a personal attack in any way (how could it be, when I have no idea whether the poster of the previous comment has children or not?).  It was a rhetorical question meant to drive home the comment that immediately preceded it.  In other words, I was implying the exact opposite of what you suggest: that ANY sane parent - including the prior poster if he/she is a parent - would be kicking, screaming, and fighting to the death to save their child from that fate.[/quote]
