But Jamie did get sexual pleasure from it.  That's kind of the point.  Randall tortured him to make him vulnerable and then deliberately conflated Claire and himself in Jamie's mind in order to further torture and break him. Jamie said that the sexual pleasure "made the pain go away" and the shame of that is why Jamie wanted to kill to himself.  That bit of truth is what Jamie holds back on telling Claire after they rescue him and what she finally made him reveal in order to heal and want to live be again. You have to acknowledge that in order to fully appreciate what a sadist Randall was and what effort and love it took on Jamie's part to come back to life and to Claire.[/quote]
