+1.  It is funny that some Whites who rely on the media for info are quick to assume that Blacks are not doing anything in our own communites.  On DCUM, I have offered many times to take some of these people with me to some of the events and things I do in the community if they are sincerely interested.  Only one taker.  And folks do not seem to graps that there a lot of things being done in the community and that violence and teen pregnancies are down in a lot of these communities.  So this leads me to believe that the Black on Black issue is a deflective talking point to many.  They do not really care about what goes on in these communites, they only want to attempt to win an argument. [/quote]
