I'm not this PP, but something like this happened at my firm's holiday party a few years back.  Our receptionist and her husband got in an argument that got really loud.  He was drunk.  He ended up punching her in the face and giving her a black eye and had to be pulled off of her.  The police were called.  She quit soon after.  Spouses have been banned from alll holiday parties and functions since then.[/quote]
