I hope your joking.  Taking fashion advice from the inhabitants of the least fashionable city in the country is not good advice.

Do what you like with your hair, wear what you like.  You don't have to dress to the D.C. uniform, get a bob cut and only wear Bobbi Brown make-up.

It may well be good advice if that's the city in which you're currently living. Fashion is quite adaptable really, and what would look good and be appropriate in one location may well be considered inappropriate, tacky, or just flat out unattractive in a different place. Since the idea of fashion is to look appropriate [i]for the time, place, and occasion one is presently in [/i] I think such threads can be potentially good sources of information and ideas.[/quote]
