Private schools should wear uniforms. I think it does curb bullying, especially in girls. So many different economic backgrounds. Uniforms work best. [/quote]

My child does go to a school with uniforms. I honestly did realize there are ones that do not have them. You don't have to be rude.  All the ones we looked at did so this is new to me. And I don't think there is much bullying at all in our school.  Isn't this the main reason public schools go uniform? Decrease bullying and increase test scores?[/quote]

In Washington, very few private schools have uniforms.  Many have dress codes, and a few may have a uniform for middle school only (Potomac, NCS).   In New York, most privabte schools do have uniforms.
