Ok, I understand completely. Especially for the work clothes. At 5'9 and a zero (or smaller) (thanks vanity sizes) What am I supposed to do? I'm thirty, I can't wear cheesy "suits" from the juniors department even if I wanted, due to height, waists cut under my breasts and pants skim my ankles. I can relate to someone who said earlier, the last time I went suit shopping it ended in tears. I was actually trying to look online right now for online stores that will sell at least size zero and I could take it in. Really, you can't buy a size 4 suit and take it in, it would literally have to be rebuilt completely. Glad to know i'm not the only one here. Oh and I love "just usa" jeans, they are pretty cheap but fit nice and the size 1 fits me perfectly, they even have a smaller size (0), and some of the jeans are actually long enough :)
definitely try theory. i'm 5 8" and size 2 in most clothes (e.g., J Crew), but a size 4 in Theory and the pants are about an inch too long for me. I think a Theory size 2 would be perfect for you.
