His response was out of line. Meren has a tendency to post bad information and throw people under the bus in her posts, it is something that you get used to seeing if your follow her newsletter and facebook feed. There is a more professional way to handle her facebook posts, he was wrong to call her a bimbo. She is frustrating to read and I can only imagine how hard she is to work with. Still shouldn't have called her a bimbo.[/quote]

That's the point.  He didn't say a##hole.  Instead he chose an insanely old fashioned sexist term last heard in teen 80's movies.  It's so dumb and specific that you know he is using that term all the time behind closed doors, to his male colleagues.  I'm not outraged, I'm disappointed and I hope the fairfax dems condemn this behavior publicly. [/quote]

They did condemn it but so what? He won't face any consequences so the lesson here is that you can be a sexist, threatening a**hole and you'll have to say you are sorry. Dems won't put pressure on him to resign or anything else and Fairfax voters will see the D next to his name and vote him in again.[/quote]
