It’s a normal part of growing up, nothing you can do but be patient and pull-ups have just made it a lot easier to keep things sanitary. Parents used to spend hours washing sheets and bedding and for many kids it was traumatic. If you want to try alarms or medication that’s up to you but I would never criticize a parent who just waited it out.[/quote]

IS it a normal part of childhood? I think for a small percentage of kids, yes, it is something they are medically predisposed to and Pull-Ups are an amazing tool to help them get through it. But my point is that it ISN'T normal for such a large percentage of kids to wet themselves every night - and that it happens because they are wearing Pull-Ups which prevent them from learning how to get up and go to the bathroom in the night because they can pee without a consequence.
