I agree this just seems like a mistake.  With 16 teams in gold and no additional matches to further refine the finish order, all the teams that lost the first match in the gold bracket should be tied for 9th. All the other teams that lost that first match are listed as 9th.

If your DD is on the MOCO team, perhaps politely suggest to the coach/club director that they contact NEQ and look into getting it fixed. Having a better finishing place could impact AES/USAV ranking and seeding at future tournaments. [/quote]
