The Platform and MOCO teams had similar results: they won their first day pool, ended up second in their second day pool, won their challenge to go into the gold bracket, where they lost. With those results, you would think that their standings would be similar. But Platform ended up on the 9th place (along with other teams) and MOCO ended up on the 16th place all by itself. So - taking into account that similar trajectory through the tournament - why isn't MOCO among the teams on the 9th place ?
A mistake? MOCO is in gold, so it should be 9th.

Going to get my 3rd cup of coffee now.
Let the clubs boast about their accomplishments! Our club brags every time a team makes it into a gold bracket. I am sure many people roll their eyes at these announcements, but each club brags with what they can. Those who can brag about getting multiple bids are even more entitled to brag. But you can do your eyeroll if that goes well with your morning coffee.
I don't understand why they give medals to those winning the bronze bracket...
We never got medals for winning a bronze bracket. It does feel ridiculous though, but we live in a world where everyone gets a participation trophy.
Just saw this in my feed: a team (no offense) won the bronze bracket (and placed 13th overall):

VA Jrs 15 got a Liberty bid by finishing 3rd at 15 Liberty.
Paramount got some Open bids at Big South?
Paramount 17s got an Open bid with a 3rd place finish. I think Paramount 16s just missed an open bid - the Big South results in SportWrench show them as coming in 6th and show 2 teams that finished higher already having open bids. The Big South web page showed 3 bids available in 17 Open https://www.bigsouth.us/qualifier-information. If that’s correct, then bids would have rolled down to 5th place. But if Big South had one of the extra USAV provisional bids or their previously earned bids were not up to date, then Paramount 16s would have an open bid. Anyone know for sure?
