I was wondering what the highest or max score range is?, Is there any link where we could compare the score and percentile?. I don't see it in the report that's posted in SIS
i think max is 350. but i don’t think many kids get close to that. my 4th grader is 242 99%. 1st grader is 207 also 99%. under documents in parentvue is score and %
What a coincidence, my two kids are in the same grades with almost the exact same scores. It makes me wonder how many kids in FCPS must fall into that national 99th percentile bucket.
fcps is generally a high wealth area with educated parents who prioritize education. i would think more kids in this area fall in the high % than others. but can also vary a lot. i know plenty of kids who are not that high
At some elementary schools, the number of kids in the 99th percentile is astoundingly high. Different test, but it's worth mentioning that there are a few high-performing elementary schools in FCPS where in order to be in-pool (meaning top 10% of the school) for AAP selection on the NGAT as a second grader, you need to be in the 99.5% ile or so. So more than 10% of the class is in the top 1% nationwide.
