I think white men are being turned down by white women. They don't have good jobs, they feel bad about themselves, and US white women don't want to have s3x with them.

The white men see "others" getting extra help as a remedy for past injustices and just feel sad for themselves because they don't have good jobs and can't attract pretty women. That's it.  That's the whole root cause.

If they felt they had access to good jobs and had economic security, they might still be racist, but they wouldbe much less radical about it, because they would have good jobs and could attract pretty girls.

Also, the entire county, ever since NCLB, has had piss poor civics education. None of the young adults now really know anything about history, civis or geography. And they honestly don't know why fascism is bad.

The best things we could do to tamp down the alt right would be to overtly state things that are true anyhow, but in a way that makes them feel special like:

"It shall be legal to say "Merry Christmas" in public schools!"

"People shall be free to pray to Jesus on all public buses!"

“No one will be fired or expelled for standing during the national anthem.”

“American history classes will continue to teach the Founding Fathers, including their achievements.”

“Students may feel free to say the Pledge of Allegiance without ridicule.”

“Rural communities matter and deserve investment, not mockery.”

“Learning a trade is just as honorable as going to college.”

“People are allowed to be proud of their country without being called extremists.”

“Traditional holidays will continue to be recognized on school calendars.”

“Public schools must teach basic civics, including how Congress works and what the Constitution says.”
