26/27 won't be a "transitional year".  It will be the year teams change from BY to SY - period.  If there are going to be any transitional rules, they will be in 25/26.

When I say transitional year I mean rules will be relaxed. Such as games played per day as 1 will be 70-90 min of playing time per day for league play. Teams can have dual jersey numbers without tape. 
Things like that.

ECNL is looking at changes for their spring 26 and summer showcases.
