Here’s one for you.

GA definitely not doing any changes next year.

ECNL also not doing any changes this year and will start in 26/27.

26/27 will be transitional year where rules will be set to allow clubs and players more flexibility to help with the transition.

26/27 won't be a "transitional year". It will be the year teams change from BY to SY - period. If there are going to be any transitional rules, they will be in 25/26.

Will USCS allow fall bdays to "play down" in the spring of 2026? Who knows.

How would this even work? ECNL league starts in Sept and ends in July. Are teams going to compleley change things up mid season?

This is why they should do something because if players are leaving to new teams for Fall 26 will they goto nationals with their BY team or new SY teams?

That’s kind of strange to play all the way into July potentially and then two weeks later leave to a new team for 30%-50% of the players.

I mean, that is exactly what is going to happen. Heck, plenty of kids are cut from a team (or just leave) and still play with the team all the way through July. It is a little awkward for everyone but not a 'real' problem.

Yes not uncommon but I think for half a team is getting cut it’s going to be different.

Bitter clingers will ride it all the way to the end.

They will probably discuss that at their yearly meeting this fall? But it makes sense to allow tournament play or things like that.

When I say transitional year I mean rules will be relaxed. Such as games played per day as 1 will be 70-90 min of playing time per day for league play. Teams can have dual jersey numbers without tape.
Things like that.

ECNL is looking at changes for their spring 26 and summer showcases.
But no decision yet.

Why not call it "Popular ways to cheat at youth soccer"

No that would be Biobanding.

No one is changing from BY in 25/26.

Everyone is changing to SY in 26/27.

No transitional year, but there will be some carveouts for the new version of "trapped players."

Nice. For context, HGH is highly controlled in the US. Good family friends of ours have to give their kid HGH injections as part of the post-chemo treatment for their DD. He said it is highly controlled and hard to get ahold of because of potential abuse.

But it wouldn't surprise if both it was derived from Asia and that parents would give it to their kid, thinking its is like a vitamin.

You can pretty easily get HGH here. There a ton of online companies that sell it. Do a blood test, have virtual consult with a 'Dr.' and boom, delivered to your door every month. It's not super cheap though.
