Same thing is happening with my DDs current coach.  9 to 5 is going to require great commitment, so he is also stepping back next year.

What they club did do though is they have brought in a young women as an assistant coach and mentor to the players - this starts formally next year, but she's been around a lot this year too and it's been beneficial.  My DD has developed a really good relationship with her.  Someone to talk to about soccer stuff outside of Mom & Dad.  [/quote]
