That can be a huge fine, not to mention being arrested. [/quote] When we lived in upstate NY years ago, an area where you paid the local municipality or a private contractor to have your trash picked up, a man got caught for this type of home garbage dumping, although repeatedly (prob not to pay for garbage service). He was arrested and fired from their job (was using an onsite trash dumpster at the work facility). [/quote]
