That's f*n scary, and clearly this isn't just about anti-semitism.  They profiled the dude because he had a Muslim sounding name.

I wonder how the Muslim Americans who said they would not vote for Harris are feeling now.  If I were them, I'd be afraid to leave the country.

My husband is a naturalized citizen, but is Egyptian Muslim. He's been a citizen since 1991.  He wants to go back to Egypt to visit his ailing mother and I'm terrified about his ability to return.  He often gets stopped anyway because of his name.  I've seen the difference over how he's treated when I travel with him and when he travels solo.

He has no social media and doesn't get involved in national politics. He actually has a security clearance. He's not a threat. But still, I worry. [/quote]
